Everything is coming together…

Being in your 30s is great – you still feel young yet so full of wisdom – around me and in my life things seem to be making sense for once – almost like a happy ending….

My sister is pregnant with her second child!!! And she and Gabriel have bought an apartment in Paris! I have found someone to share my life with …. ! He’s settling in to his new life in Switzerland and finally got his residence permit sorted out! One of my friends has finally started going out – with the one man who really loves her, who has been her friend for ever and who she thought she should never go out with (just as my tarot reading had indicated!). My childhood friend from school just sent me an email telling me that she is 3 months or so pregnant – she’s been wanting a child for years – and finally it’s happening!!! Another friend who I used to work with finally left her relationship of a thousand years that was not taking her any where and is now in a daring new relationship which I think is shaking all her old safe habits to the bin! Last year my best friend in Geneva and I liberated ourselves of all the guilt and hang ups that latin women carry around with them – through an intensive “shiny power therapy” (only for connaisseurs) and now we are both better people and have regained the power to laugh at ourselves and feel free! I am a totally confirmed non smoker! I am happy living in Cambodia with Santiago – despite the distance from family and Clement – but work is making sense and who I am in the human rights world is also more clear to me. It is an amazing experience to watch Santiago as he starts to read and write – life is a ball now and I am ready to be a mother again! He needs someone to play with or I will go insane! Some friends will soon be visiting Cambodia – which is a relief – cos we are lonely despite the wonders of this country! But Friday – I have a party lined up and I am so ready for it! Any body else got any good news….?


Como por arte de magia…

Estar en la treintañez es una experiencia fantástica – aún te sientes joven pero llena de sabiduría – a mi alrededor y en mi vida por una vez todo parece tener sentido – casi como un final feliz….

Mí hermana esta embarazada de su segundo bebe!!! Ella y Gabriel han comprado un apartamento en Paris! Yo he encontrado con quien compartir mi vida! El se está integrando a su nueva vida en Suiza y ha obtenido finalmente su permiso de estadía. Una de mis amigas ha empezado una relación con el hombre que realmente la quiere, que ha sido su amigo de toda la vida, y con quien ella creyó que nunca podría salir (tal como previsto en mi lectura del tarot!)… Mi amiga del colegio de toda la vida me mando un email contándome que tiene 3 meses de embarazo – hace años que quería tener un bebe – y por fin esta ocurriendo!!! Otra amiga, con la que trabajaba antes, dejó la relación en la que estaba dos mil años y que no la llevaba a ninguna parte y se ha lanzado en una nueva aventura que creo esta sacudiendo todas sus viejas costumbres conservadoras al tacho! El año pasado mi mejor amiga en Ginebra y yo nos liberamos de la culpa y los traumas que cargan las mujeres Latinas con una terapia intensiva de “Shiny Power” (solo para los connaisseurs) y ahora somos mejores personas y hemos recuperado nuestro habilidad de reírnos de nosotras mismas y somos libres!!! Ya esta totalmente confirmado que soy una no fumadora! Estoy feliz viviendo en Camboya con Santiago – a pesar de la distancia de la familia y Clement – pero el trabajo tiene sentido y lo que yo puedo contribuir al mundo de derechos humanos esta cada vez mas claro. Es increíble ver como Santiago empieza a leer y escribir – que felicidad – estoy lista a ser madre otra vez! Santiago necesita con quien jugar o me voy a volver loca! Algunas amigos vendrán a visitarnos a Camboya – que alivio! – porque nos sentimos muy solos acá a pesar de lo genial que es el país! Pero el viernes tengo una fiesta – y créanme la necesito! Alguien más tiene buenas noticias que quieran compartir…?
